I have a ton of babies I need to move, I want to post them on the forum. However I dont know how to price them. All are even and the ones from last month and the month before all should have passed SBA (as soon as I get taxes I will get my premium thing back) many have more than one fantasy/special gene and I do believe they are all evenly bred as well! I'm just curious how everyone does their pricing?
For example:
Evenly bred red papered G3 is het for axiom red, watercolor and ice 13. Passed SBA

I guess it depends on the rarity of the genes and the people who have the licences. Personally, I don't find I get much interest when it comes to selling so most of what I don't need as breeding stock either gets dumped in auctions or spelded for show ponies.
However I think 10-25k is a reasonable asking price for closed gene lined mares.

for colts i pretty much charge a flat fee of 10k, unless they have really special genes (hom satin specifically, mixed with other desirable genes). if they arent sold ill then send em to auction.. mares, however, are a different story.

flat fee of 10k.

add these prices on for their specs:
-2k if they are even bred (by generation OR paper levels)
-5k if they passed SBA.
-1k per special gene that they have (example: snowflake, satin, kp, nexus, phantom, watercolor, ice, etc)
-5k if they are blue papered or higher

I agree, most fantasy lined colts are 10k here unless they are later gens. Then since they could be homozygous for genes and such they might be a bit higher. Mares I almost never sell, but when I do I follow a similar formula to MariaChapinFarm3.
