"The Name Game Contest"

Like me, I have found that many of you have gotten some great laughs and intrigue at the random horse names assigned by the new Bulk Name Generator (thank you Ammit)! So...time to share your best ones and vote on your favorites of others!

Entries start right now with this post and will close on March 1, 8pm game time, and then an extra week will be given to allow time for votes to come in for later entries. Voting will officially close March 7th, 8pm game time, and prizes awarded within a few days thereafter. 


Prizes are:

1st Place: A whoppin' one million hbs!

2nd Place: 500k hbs

3rd Place: 300k hbs

4th Place: 200k hbs

5th Place: 100k hbs

6th Place: 50k hbs

(Prize Horsebucks will be paid out by ShowPonies4u)


General & Entry Rules:

-Horse names MUST have been randomly assigned by the Bulk Name Generator (honor system please!). PLEASE use discretion and exclude any names with inappropriate or potentially offensive word combinations (we are supposed to report undesirable words to Ammit so she can delete them from the generator).

-Due to the likely large number of entries, there is a limit of 10 entries per account. Only one prize will be awarded per account in order to give as many players as possible a chance at prizes. For example, if you had two entries on one account that had the second and third most number of votes, you will be awarded the second place prize only, and the third place prize will go to the next player with the highest number of votes on their entry. Ties will have to split prizes (sorry I am not THAT rich ya'll)

--To enter, post the link to the horse in THIS thread below, and comment the account name and number entry it is for that account. (Ex: DuelingHawks, entry #1, and so on).

- In order for individual votes to be correctly tallied per entry, you must make each entry as a single posting on this thread...multiple entries inside one posting will be disqualified!

-How to Vote: desktop users can click the "Thank" button that appears at the bottom of each entry post that you wish to enter a vote for. For mobile users, scroll down to the bottom of the main Forum page, and click the link that reads, "Full Site" on the very bottom right. This will change your mobile view to the desktop version to allow you to vote using the "Thank" button. (To change back to mobile view, simply log out and back in again).

-To voters and all players: Please do NOT post comments of any other kind, anywhere on this entry thread! If you love a name, vote for it and then share your comments via threads on other areas of the Forum to hopefully draw other players and voters to the contest!

-Again, we are using the honor system here, so please refrain from voting on your own entries while signed-in on an alternate account. Let's let the chips fall where they may, and let the community truly decide the winners ♡ 

(I am posting entries from my account because I want to take part in the fun too. Votes cast for my entries will not count towards prizes).
I also reserve the right to amend this post and possibly edit rules during the contest in the event of any problems that could potentially arise. The purpose of this contest is first and foremost to have fun with this community!
