I'd really love to have a banner and don't that the time or artistic ability to create an awesome one for my barn. So I figured, why not make it a contest? (Prize details are at the bottom.)

Here are a few details about my barn. Obviously, this doesn't all have to be on the banner - it's just an overview to help nudge your imaginations along. :)

I call my chat room Pray For Rain Sport Horses. (You know, because rain can be healing, and brings rainbows and stuff.)

My breed's name is Gestalt. (Gestalt means something that is greater than the sum of its parts.)

My stable ID is 42860.

My current breeding interests include bootstraps and mushrooms. (And I just adore S+.)

Most of my horses are draft or warmblood. Here are a few examples that I just really enjoy looking at:

PFR mM G2 Irish Radiance

PFR mM G2 Irish Buckram

PFR Khan Do

PFR Browns Eclipse STS

PFR mM G2 Irish Blizzard

PFR XPro Big Brown

And here's the important stuff...

I'll choose the winner on Sunday the 16th when the auction is over.

EVERYONE who enters a banner for consideration will win a prize. (Art takes time. I don't want to waste yours.)

If I decide none of the entries will really work for me, a 1st place winner will still be chosen on artistic merit.

Prizes:

Grand Prize will only be awarded if I use the entry as my banner - 200k plus two strands of Phantom Lace to be placed on the horse or horses of your choice.

If there is no Grand Prize, 1st Place - 200k

2nd Place - 150k

3rd Place - 100k

4th Place - 75k

Honorable mention prize money will be determined by number of entries, but will be not be less than 10k.

Do you want the horses shown to be on the banner? If so it would be easier if they were on a plain background with no tack(unless you want them wearing it).

Agreed - if you'd like to feature a specific horse, put it on a plain background. I have the best luck with the Basic Blue, but my image manipulation skills are still pretty basic.

I'm leaving what goes on the banner to the contest entries' imaginations, but if that's the general consensus, I'll change the backdrops to blue when I get home from work later today.

Before I forget to add this...i can change the color of your stable name and the breed pretty easily. The color I chose looks really neat, but it seems to have blended into the background in the image I shared.

I had to post that one by holding the image and copying that link then selecting the image icon on the forum post. It would look like this without the spaces.

I'm not sure if we can add more than one, but I will. I'll edit/remove/add more if we can't/can.
And they *should* be the correct size of 500×150.
