Is there a benefit to breeding an exceptional Show horse?

Do the offspring have better stats due to the parent being an exceptional show horse or am I better of just spay/gelding it even if the breeding advice says they're fine to breed?

The foals should have better SHOWING stats, but the breeding ability will remain a mystery. However, don't expect every foal to have outstanding PT scores because even the best horses can have 'Dud' foals sometimes!
