I recently decided to switch to breeding evenly on this account, and got impatient looking for a perfect foundation stud to start with, so I embarked on my first real GMT journey. Got an experf hom sooty black mare, thinking "I'll just add one copy of dun and turn her into a him"... Ended up adding two copies of dun, one each of roan, splash, and Llp, and switched his one PATN to +.

Not only do I love how he came out, but he gave me 18 babies that I was happy with, including an A-papered colt with (almost) all the right genes:

I feel like that makes it totally worth it, and I'm back to being really excited about my goals (and foals)! :D
