Hey Guys,

Just made a stallion yearling from the Winter Folk Festival's CWARN HH, and was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions for GMT'ing him? I was planning on adding Sabino 1 from the RGS, but don't know how it will look and what to swap it out with?

I also want to hold a naming competition for this boy. For those interested, could it have something to do with his HH/Colour, and/or something to do with Australia, and/or something to do with like being a standout or like 1 in a 1 million thing (I was originally going to name him Showtime, but thought I could do better)

The winner will receive 10 straws from him free of charge!*

*When he is of breeding age (Feb 2020)

One thing to keep in mind is KP2 does not react with roan by itself, so half his foals will not have the fun interaction unless they get a kit gene from the dam. So if you are going to replace a kit gene, it should be the roan.

I think Opera House Magic would be a fun name, keeping with the Australia theme. It would give plenty of options for names for foals.

I personally love roan and Sabino together, but Fallen is correct about KP2 not interacting with roan.
I feel a good name for him would be "Now You See Me".

KP2 does however have effects with splash and frame, so long as a kit mutation is present to activate it (roan included). So it's possible to have his roan foals express KP2 if they get at least one of the 3 other pattern genes he has (splash1, splash2 and/or frame).

Edit: Statistically, only 1 out of every 16 foals will not express KP2, based solely on what he passes along.
