Excepcionally producing stallions forum auction

    I'm reaching my barn's limit, so I need to get rid of some horses. Still, I would like to get as much as I can for them, so a forum auction seemed to be my best bet.

    What's special about livers?
  • TheBlueMoorsTheBlueMoors
    Livers carry DP (dense phenomelaton) which is another darkening gene. It works in a similar fashion to sooty to darken the coat color.

    To be termed liver red, red bases have to carry at least 3 darkening genes which could look like this: sty sty DP, sty DP DP, or sty sty DP DP

    Lots of people like DP in their lines because it lends a rich coloring to their colors.
