Awards page "records missing "

What does it mean that the awards records doesn't show what horse won me the award? The past awards won by horses now deceased show the page and list deceased like any other horse that's gone.

Records missing tends to mean the horse has no descendants. Horses with no descendants in game are erased when they pass rather than being stored so you can access them in pedigrees.
