Sitting in the hospital waiting on possible surgery for a broken wrist. Anyone want to keep me distracted??

Oh no! Good luck!

My (almost) 3-year-old has a new favorite pastime: he waits for my husband and I to start conversing, then interrupts us with "lawl." (He heard us saying it in response to various things and now insists on interjecting it constantly.) If we aren't already talking to each other, he'll say "Mama! Talk to Dada!" so that he can interrupt...

The hospital sent me home in a splint and gave me a phone number for orthopedics.I'll know more tomorrow how bad it is. Got to drive (well hubby does) 2 hours in the morning to get to get to ortho.

Not fun! I broke my wrist a year and a half ago. Surgery, hardware, the whole nine yards. This game kept me sane through the first weeks when I couldn't do much of anything. I hope you're doing okay and that it heals up quickly!

Thanks, the soonest I can have surgery is next Tuesday. I smushed the end of my Radius up a little so they have to go in with a plate and screws to pull it back into place. Then the Dr said if be off work for the two weeks after that. Looks like I'll be a couch potato game playing fool for a while.

Oof, being out of commission is never fun... but at least there are lots of fun events and stuff going on in the game! lol :)

I'm off to surgery in the morning.it's a two hour drive one way. At least it's outpatient and ill be home in the evening.

Lol @Cheers, I already messed up the relatively simple task of creating horses. So no GMTing either.

I got a plate and 8 screws then when the stitches came out I got a green cast. Then I went back to work and my co workers have me a cold for Christmas. What a crazy end to the year. But at least my arm doesn't hurt too much. That's a good thing. It's just an irritation trying to do simple tasks with the cast
