Yes and no. It seems with nexus, white turns blackish.

I definitely second satin!
KitM looks super cool with nexus as does SplashM.
Onyx is wicked too.
And if you want to get really fancy, any of the ice or phantom genes are going to do fun stuff with nexus.
Here are all my hom nexus guys, including show ponies from other players.
I got some really cool 3rd gen babies from my ice lines and you can see them on the last two pages.
