Watercolor reroll question
-
So, I'm a crafty person by nature and I thought of the cutest Secret Santa craft project in this game, but before I spend a boatload of money on it I want to make sure it's possible. I've read that you can reroll Watercolor horses to get different colors. My question is if there is a guideline for the type of colors you can get. Not shades, but type. For example, if I reroll this girl, who is a very dull green, will all of the rerolls be dull colors? Will a pastel stay pastel, or could I get a neon?
Hope this makes sense. I'm high as a kite on meds, so if this isn't clear I'll try again tomorrow.
Edit: ...I wasn't sick enough to forget I should show a horse...just sick enough to not post the link. See, this is why I hate germs. Okay, here is my example.

Linking to the horse could tell us more. I dont have experience with watercolor personally, but I think that brightness and color variation is based, to an extent, on base color.ID 43830
It's nice to be back! :)

She is Dun, so she will always have a more muted color.
I have found the darker they are without watercolor, example a sooty plus bay, the more colorful. -
To get the truly vivid bright neon watercolors, you may want to go with dark bases for your horses. Black watercolors in particular usually turn out rich, deep shades.

If you want most colorful, though, I'd recommend bays or browns. They can be a bit boring sometimes too, but if you keep rerolling you can get horses like this filly.

Mostly the pale colours are more muted, but if I re-roll heaps sometimes a vivid one will turn up to surprise me!
My favourites with so many different combinations are the bay based ones of various sorts
