I haven't paid any attention to snowflake at all, and certainly haven't bred for it (keeping up with hidden genes is hard, and I'm lazy - DP is enough complication for me).
So, imagine my surprise when I got this girly:

I guess that's the sort of thing that can happen with the hidden genes lol.

Yea I have a hard time with KP and snowflake is even harder! But I have some snowflake foundations so keep hoping it will pop up on its own

Both parents are het because they both have a snowflake parent. I like when it pops up with no visible snowflake in the line.

Her pedigree is riddled with a lot of Snowflake carriers, so it is not too surprising for her to be homozygous for it.

I definitely had a "duh" moment when I noticed the "SNF" part of HotWine's name. I got him for his visible genes, and totally ignored that! lol Guess I might end up with some more surprises down the line! :D
