Her mom is a hom DP "black liver" so she is het DP. If you like that shade, add some DP (dense pheomelanin) into your lines. Since it's not a testable gene, a hom DP foundation like a Cherry Drop or Freaky Friday (coming this Friday!), or a horse that has been GMT modified to have it, and cross-breed them.

I don't breed bays but here is an example of silver brown that is Hom DP with that gorgeous deep shade you are after:

Since you are bootstrapping (breeding uneven for PT) and may not be interested in starting a line from foundation, I have some nice hom DP studs (even a few even-bred, A-papered warmbloods) that are up for public brood currently. Let me know if you want me to link a list here.
