Basic upgrade question

I have 12 days left on my basic upgrade. I have other unactive basic upgrades from previous merges. When this one runs out will another take it's place or do I need to activate it? If it runs out before my next one activates will my barns be all crazy with overflow?

I'm pretty sure the others will automatically start. I think that's what they've done for me the times I've gotten premium while I still had my basic.Love,

In the next couple of days it will switch to a higher day upgrade. I've never had one run all the way to zero when another is waiting.45120
