    During a blackout event all foundation horses created will be black (E? aa) rather than random base color or whatever the herd helper would normally produce. Silver, champagne, cream and any pattern genes are still expressed, but dun is not.
    Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Watercolor, Wrong Warp and ice on mixed body types.

    @MaltScotchStable Blackout events mean that all horses created on the Create A Horse will have a black base coat color, regardless of the herd helper used to create them. All horses will be Ee/eE or EE and aa.

    Horses created using, say "Red Based White 2" will be black based, but still have the W2. Horses created with the Stars and Striped herd helper will be black instead of bay underneath their LP and tobiano. And this one is really exciting - all Exceptionally Producing Silver horses will be black with silver - no chance of the horse being red based (ee) and the silver not showing

    It also means all Exceptionally Perfect will be black. Since my alt account specialize in livers and blacks, I look forward to these events.
