Yup, there is!

The gene Dense Pheomelanin, or DP for short, is one of two darkening genes in the game, the other being sooty (SSty, or S+). On a chestnut base (ee), if a horse has three or more darkening genes (DP + 2 Ssty, or 2 DP + 1 Ssty) then they become a liver. If they are a palomino with the same, they become a chocolate palomino. DP is a hidden gene and so you have to develop an eye to see it, especially in other base coats like bay where the name does not change to signify the presence of DP. I'll add some example photos in a bit

And just because sometimes looking at a wider selection of horses helps... (Not at all because I wanted the excuse to dig through all my chocolates, psh. :D )
