Literally as I clicked Breeding Inspection, I had the thought "God, it'd be just my luck for this to be my first home-grown even Star... he's kinda plain..."


FIRST STAR

Oops, I jinxed myself! :-) It's OK though, I am still delighted. He is my first even Star that I can trace all the way back to one of my own foundation studs. His great great grandpappy is Third Times The Charm:


W1 Third Times The Charm

Third Times The Charm appears in my Star boy's lineage FIVE times. Additionally, Mr. Meteoric Milestone also appears on his dam's side. I have owned all the studs in his lineage with the exception of three.

So he's not super flashy or amazing, but I am very proud of him. Maybe I will GMT on a roan from his sire or a splash from his dam. We'll see!
