I've been looking through a pasture of foals for a half hour and every time I come to a nd1 foal it's a little puzzling because I thought the markings were stronger. This foal and her dam seem like they should show similar shoulder halos but I don't see anything on the recently-generated image?

This filly has nd1 as well, and doesn't show the glowing shoulder, but does seem subdued from the usual Hz sooty chestnut we all know:

Far as I know, Ammit is still tweaking nd1 after the last update.

I noticed the same thing. A lot of the nd1 mares I bought changed when I added tack to them. Most lost the classic nd1 look that I fell in love with. I was just hoping it was an art tweak that would hopefully go away. I miss the shoulder shade.
Rerolling didn't help

I read some post that mentioned Ammit was tweaking the nd1 because it was too dramatic, I believe it said.
I liked it dramatic as well.

Other Bug Fixes: This image generator update also has a patch for mushroom eye colors which appeared too light and slightly softens the look of nd1 which was too strong and added additional randomness to nd1 appears.

Aww. :( I was hoping it was a temporary change. I added so much nd1 to my herd because I liked the look as it was.

It's still being worked on and is too subtle now, but it did not look right before.

To be fair, in real life nd1 can be as subtle as lightening the ear hairs.

I have to admit, I'm very disappointed. I also added a lot of it into my lines because I thought it looked spectacular when it was first introduced. Now I'm afraid to refresh my horses' pages. Will we be notified when the adjustment is complete?

I believe it was stated when it was released that it was too strong. It shouldn't really be a surprise though, look at real life nd1 horses and how they are not as strong as the first renditions of the gene here.

Well; shucks. I too loved the original strong expression. I was planning to add it to an upcoming gmt project but frankly I'd rather not spend a cool million on it if it's not going to look as dramatic as it did before.

I like the more subtle expression, and I like the variability it could have. I'm excited to see how it looks when Ammit is finished!
