I just dont think I'm going to use him much. I'd love to have hin for the tiger eye but I have no true use for the appaloosa.

What would you pay? Maybe a trade? I see people paying hbs for others to add genes to their horse. How does that work?

Ack, I feel bad for wanting to sell such a special horse

Don't feel bad, no horse is going to be the end-all, be-all for everyone. :) If you want the tiger eye, you could find a Mysterious Sigil to buy or buy the gene outright for a horse you create. :)

I sold my TAoLMP mare, while it was difficult at the time I don’t regret it. She didn’t fit my breeding goals very well, and I really don’t like SNF. But because I sold her I was able to pay someone to add Splash M to another horse, which has been a goal since the game started. :)

I think I'll do an auction for him. I dotn think I'll get enough our of hin to pay for tiger eye on another horse but atleast he wouldn't be totally wasted

ColorGoodStables, you would be better off auctioning him then using some of the profit to pay someone else to put tiger eye on a different horse that might be more suited to your preference. I know I’d bid at least 1.5 million for him even though I reaaaallly don’t need another gmt project at this point! Plus having that extra cash is super nice if you are wanting to invest in more show barns and/or show ponies.

AoLMP horses are collector items... I sold mine on my alternate account (now merged into this one) and was able to take in a nice profit. There is no need to feel bad for trying to generate some cash.

EDIT: I just reread your post and realized I missed some info. If you wanted to pay someone to put a gene on your horse, the conversion rate for real money to HB is 1 dollar for every 100k Hb. If you wanted to pay someone to put tiger eye on, you could post an ISO in either the help me out or general discussion part of the forum offering between 500-600k per copy of tiger eye (since it is $5) to put it on the horse you want (i.e- an exceptionally perfect red roan dun you want to pizazz up a little). With your colt, you could easily get that much money and more. Again, I’d recommend auctioning rather than trading unless the horse to be traded is of equal value. That would mean, to me at least, an exceptionally perfect base horse (not mysterious sigil horses- they are 50-50 on whether they will pass papering and/or be of breeding quality whereas your colt is an exceptionally perfect which means he will be a good breeder and shower) and some combo of genes that you want already on the horse so there is minimal work to be done to get the horse you want (adding the tiger eye)

I'm just gonna add something to what TheBlueMoors said..

All mysterious sigil horses are guaranteed to pass sba and paper C/Yellow. They are perfect foundations- the only horses you have to worry about are ones that are randomly created with the tiger eye gene. Those aren't guaranteed to pass.

Ahh I stand corrected then Mariachapin! I was under the assumption that the HH mysterious sigil was a 50:50 chance of pass and fail when created. Thank you for that clarification!
