Should I make this guy Hom Onyx?

    Hey guys,

    I'm on the fence about whether I should make my latest GMT project hom. for the new Onyx gene? He's already Het for it and is Het ND1, I really like breeding ND1 into my lines and really want to increase the frequency of Onyx as well, what should I do?

    If you max out his breedings every season, you'd get roughly a half/half split of onyx foals and nd1 foals, so roughly 25 of each. Saying roughly because sometimes you do get more of one than the other, it is a flip of the coin.

    So far, I personally like the look that Onyx/nd1 combo gives. I think it makes the horse look so soft and velvety - just like your boy!! He is absolutely beautiful.

    But you do whatever you want! You gotta do what makes you happy. :)
