So, I have not been very well of late and I’d love a distraction from it all! With all the genes on sale lately I’d love to see people’s project ponies and gmt projects whether finished or a work in progress, whether you added one gene or ten haha. I really love looking at what other people create and hearing their plans for their breeding so don’t forget to tell me all about your project too! I find all the pretty ponies a wonderful distraction ^^

This is my own. The first ever gmt project I’ve ever worked on. Pearl, snowflake, w10, KP drafts are what I breed for and after playing this game for so many years I finally have my first real foundation stallion with all the genes I breed for. He is hom snf, hom KP, W10, pearl, TE1 and 2, roan and brindle. Buckskin is my favourite base colour. I named him Tyger Tyger for the Tiger eye gene and the poem The Tiger. Specifically the line ‘Tyger Tyger burning bright in the forests of the night’ which I think his image captures beautifully :) show me yours!

If your not someone who gmt’s feel free to show me your favourite foundation stallion/mare all the same and what you plan to breed from them ^^

I've picked up some new (to me) closed genes as of late, and I'm pretty excited about them. Here's my nacre boy, I plan to add KitM to him and then he is done :)

All these projects are so
gorgeous!!

I inadvertently started a revamp project for my snowflake herd earlier in the year.
It started with this boy on a whim, who was originally a smokey cream filly, I wanted a bit more bling and have been dithering about a kit gene for him for awhile.
I need to finish him soon. He was such a gorgeous pale pearl before he varnished out, hence the name.

Then I admonished myself because my focus is supposed to be on the BBA so I started this guy to fufill my need to pair snowflake with nexus and also to inject some champagne into the BBA.

The last two boys also give me a chance to inject some SplashM into the BBA, outside.of my Chinchilla line.

I was content and then our dearest Ammit released the anniversary RS and... well.... I guess I now have 3 studs for my snowflake line! >:D<
I was so happy to find this boy already carried a copy of DP.
I was waiting for Onyx to come out but may not use it on him right now.
He is still waiting for a copy of KitM and a couple of other tweaks. (And a super nerdy elvish name, of course!) ;)

And this girl, soon to be a boy, will round out my Ice herd once Ice 3 (my favourite) and nexus comes back around.

Once s/he is done I will have BBA studs with all the ices except 10 and 15. I am not a fan of those two so probably won't be getting them for awhile.

Future (waaay in the future) projects include a Watercolour stud, for WyldWood, and two Onyx studs for Chinchilla and Mushroom.
Those will wait until Christmas most likely.

I have a blinged out foundy stallion hoarding problem.

@CWSCowgirl87 your nacre and plaid studs are beautiful! Normally I'm not a fan of those two genes but they look fantastic!

This is my current project. He is currently a brown-based chinchilla with splash M. He is homozygous snowflake, and heterozygous satin, s+, kp, w3, dp, and pearl. I could use some help figuring out one more thing to add to him. I'll be turning in my sea ponies to add the other copy of satin. I was hoping to add Onyx, but I don't think it will work well with all the white he has. I was hoping for a closed ice that wouldn't lighten the base coat to come up in the rgs but no luck.

I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling well!! I hope you bounce back quickly. I have two projects I am working on and soon a 3rd one if nexus shows up in the sales!

This is RandingKattHast. He is my liver red roan boy and has quite a few goodies! Homozygous for DP and KP,
one each of the tiger eye variant, and carries sabino 2 and sooty plus. I am thinking about adding mushroom if it comes out but for the most part he is pretty much done. I am not a fan of adding big flashy genes to studs since I think that is where the mares can come forward and really shine with their own fancy contributions. I think that is why I am loving his minimalist look... all those goodies and just hints of it here and there! I am hoping to share his straws with interested people next season!

I also have Marmorstenhast who is a cremello hom ND1 and was the intended guy for the onyx project. He also carries hom KP and Tiger Eye 2. He has quite a few tweaks to go yet before he will be available for breeding. I am also contemplating making him nexus if it pops up in RGS and maybe either a buckskin or perlino depending on if I add gulastra plume later.

The release of the ALMs had me change plans a bit for breeding projects/goals. This Project is called Hooked on Classics.

First is my stud Tyger Tyger, barn name "Ty"

Work Done: Boost 5%,Hom DP, Het W10, Hom KP, Het TE2, Het PATN 1

Work to do:
Hom LP, Hom S+, Het ND1, Het W8 and Hom SA.

So far I think I'm going to leave them all open gened, but come Christmas when we get more red RS that I can boost to fit the herd I might incorporate some Fantasy genes into the mix.

Overall guidelines: NO GRAY, W20, W1, W2, W3, SPLASH (except for Splash M possibly), FRAME, TOBIANO, ROAN or RABICANO.

Minimal or light white only white factor.

All Hom LP, Hom DP and Hom KP and either Hom Sooty, S+ or one of each. At least 1 Patn1 al TE1 and 2.

Primary herd colors aimed for Grullo, Silver Grullo, Black Liver, Chocolate Palominos, Dark Buckskins (DP), Silver Buckskins.

It's going to be a big expensive project!

This month has allowed for the start of various exploits and a little budget pushing. :) I wish for some of the $40 genes like i10 but it's got to wait til next year as I don't even have the hbs base to offer for it.

I've been fancying up one of my Father's Day XPro creates to take over on my black draft line after my herd sire ages out.

He's got Silver from the GMT lab and Tiger Eye and White 8 from the gene sales. He's only het for silver and white, so I'll still get some plain black babies from him to continue that part of the line, but some bling to liven things up.

1B ALMP Dissonance

This is my "lethal overload" project colt. He's not finished yet, but when done he will have as many lethal genes as possible while still having the ability to sire live foals, plus any other extra white patterns i can cram in. He may end up totally white in the end, but his foals will be so blinged out they'll liven up any plain lines.

I'm planning to get Onyx when it comes out, but haven't decided yet what I'm putting it on.

Everyone’s projects look so great!

My two main herds are Silver Sables and Silver Bays, with ND1, DP and sooty+. Chinchilla sprinkled into the sables and mushroom in the bays. I haven’t ever bred evenly in the almost two years I’ve been playing, so I’m trying to switch over to that now at least partly. I wanted to make myself two new studs for each line, however I’ve decided to limit myself to one for now!

So, introducing Wicked Tabby! He is a Yule Log that I turned into a Silver Bay. He is now hom ND1 and DP, het for sooty+ and mushroom, and has a copy for each tiger eye variant. I thought about making him a leopard app and adding snowflake but i think I’m pretty happy with how he is now :D I’d still like to boost him if I can budget that in. I’m going to get onyx and I’m not sure if I’ll put it on him or not.

Currently working on this boy. He needs KitM, and I’m still debating on if I want to add the new Onyx gene or not. It won’t show well on him, but his offspring might look awful nice with it. You can’t see it since he’s a foal, but he is homozygous for Gulastra Plume, and homozygous DP under that pearly champagne.

Finished (still living) breeders first:

My Chinchilla mare! She was simple. All I had to do was add the two alleles of Chinchilla and give her an allele of brown and silver each.

Cherry Drop based mare: sooo many changes. I did this one when nd1 came out and since it was Christmas there was an advent calendar of GMT sales on particular days. :D I added Hz Sty. Hz Brown, Hz Pearl, Hz nd1, and Sooty+. Whoops, wasted a gene there, but Sooty+ is worth it! And of course she was created with Hz DP.

Hidden Gates: This fella was gifted to me, I forget why. Maybe I was providing a bunch of players SS gifts at Christmas time? Anyway, he got Hz brown, nd1, prl to make him Hz, and a copy of Nexus because yay sparkles!

Not counting the foals I want to tweak, I have three mares I want to jazz up.

Like-Minded Accomplishments, of course:
she's so special of course I have to treat her right. I'm thinking Onyx will go on her, with brown alleles if I can make it. I could add a starry gene like one of the axioms, but do I need to? I'd rather keep foundation mares with closed genes separate so egg selling isn't incredibly complicated. I love nd1 and other genes that affect the general body color in gradual ways, but it looks like Onyx is going to do as much of that as a single horse can handle. Ideally I'd add Sooty+ too but I need to save up for college.
So to wrap up on her, she has nd1 and TE2 added to her TE1. I don't know why Ammit added two genes that do exactly the same thing, but if she ever changes that or reveals otherwise, I'm going to be ready. :P

This mare has a single copt of w20 added to her other allele because originally I planned to throw her into the KP pasture, but when I decided to go for Axiom (as long as I could pay hbs for it) I'd save her up. So she's getting a copy of one of the colors, who knows which, and we'll see what else. :P

I've had her for a half year and I still do't know what to do with her. I've taken the frame off as usual, but I gotta find something to do with her fast. :)) Probably not a super opaque gene so I don't waste the DP shininess.

This guy was my most recent project. I finished him up earlier this month and his first crop of foals is sitting in pasture waiting for me to get through the gen 3 foals before I pull them in and take a look.

I will also do an Onyx horse but until I see pricing and whether it’s going to show when it’s het or only Hom I won’t know exactly what that will be... I’m considering restarting my GP line with an Onyx stallion or else adding it to a few different mares and putting them in my watercolor line and Wrong Warp lines.
