Brindle isn't really genetic though. Every stallion has the potential to sire a brindle foal. I have multiple brindle studs that are breeding multiple brindle mares every season and I haven't gotten a brindle foal for many seasons.#28036Thanked by 1Amgr1992

@Haltanny I know, but I've only ever got (and seen) a brindle from a brindle. So as far as I've found it's a higher chance. As I had a Brindle stud once and he gave me a few over the seasons. And I just love the pattern and can't help my self for trying to breed them.

It is totally random. But my Nexus foundation has sired a Brindle foal (out of a Brindle mare) I can sell straws if you’re interested.
