KP Cloud Size?

You'd think I'd know this since I've been breeding for KP pretty much since the beginning of me joining, but has anyone figured out which genes are related to KP cloud size? In my original lines, the KP cloud has gotten bigger over time, but white factor has also increased, so I figured that is the link. But, I'm now GMT'ing a new foundation stallion who has a white factor of light and his KP cloud covers his entire body! So that blew my theory out of the water lol
Does lp interact with KP? I haven't had lp in my KP lines before and I would much prefer to reduce the KP cloud a little if I can. I'd like to see his base colour if at all possible lol -
W20 can also impact cloud size, if you have w20 as your kit genes on your foundation. If you want to reduce the size, I would recommend swapping the WF to None, and swapping a w20 for roan or maybe Tobiano.

The leopard complex does not influence white factor, which I *think* is what controls KP cloud size.ID 43830

Ah okay it could be the w20 then. I've got him hom w20 at the moment. I don't really like roan and I've got plenty of tobi in my other KP line and foundation mares, so kinda wanted to steer clear of it in this boy for the moment. I'll try swap his white factor to none and see if that does anything. I think if I'm breeding to mares with tobiano anyway, I should be okay if I keep the white factor down.
