How do I get more money?
-
Who would guess testing your horses was so expensive? In any case, I need more money to fully test my latest aquisition. I put one horse for sale to raise some funds, but no one seems to want a spayed mare.
Am I hajing the wrong way? -
Selling horses or studding out your breeders isn’t the main way most of us make money. Your show pony herd is the backbone of finances for this game. Make sure you’re training everything you own once a week and showing them twice a week.
If there are horses you know you don’t want, the Auction is one of the best ways to get rid of them. They will sell for a minimum of 2500hbs and may sell for more if someone is looking for that sort of horse or if they are a valuable show pony.
New accounts can take advantage of creating “pointed creates”—horses from the Create A Horse page that spring into existence already with some points on the board (up to 1000 I think). Once your barn has more than 20k points your created horses don’t have points to start with anymore.
The number of points you own directly relates to your nightly show bonus, paid into your account every night. You earn about 1/10 of your total points in hbs each night, so having a lot of show ponies with a lot of points will earn you a lot of hbs.
If you have any other questions the new player buddy chat is a great place to ask questions and often get relatively prompt answers. -
Thanks!
