What Genes Would You Add?
-
Hey Guys,
I need some advice on my latest huge GMT Project that I took on board this month, I have a long lost of GMT's I need done, but when I rolled her I needed to make her the best horse in my barns.
So without further ado, I introduce to you TBH Suburban Gangster, a Yule Log 2YO Cob Colt who is currently a Brown Roan Dun Sabino Rabicano Brindle
TBH Suburban Gangster GMT
I've already added: 2 S+; 1 Sb1; 1 TE1; 1 TE2; 2 DP; 1 Brown; 1 Dun; 1 roan; 1 pearl; 2 KP
And I plan on adding possibly another copy of pearl, and I'm open to any suggestions anyone might have on how to make her even better!
Really looking forward to the feedback and ideas you guys can offer me
Thanks,
TBH"A stud designed to breed horses suitable for the High Country, the Show Ring, and anything this Great Southern land throws in its way"

I often think of GP just as a bit of a possible extra for bay or brown based horses. Satin is always lovely, even if just one copy for an extra bonus in foals now and then. Her colour might be a good one for the new Onyx gene tooThanked by 1TrueBlueHorses

Thank you @kintara!
I will definitely add those genes to my list now.
Do you think I should change her to a Stallion? Just to get more out of her in terms of breeding prospects."A stud designed to breed horses suitable for the High Country, the Show Ring, and anything this Great Southern land throws in its way"

If you do a lot of gmt work it can be worth making them a stallion because can get more foals, but if you don't need to breed heaps of foals and have enough stallions a nice gmt'd mare can be good too!Thanked by 1TrueBlueHorses

If you don't have satin, that might be a nice touch. Sb1/sb2 is a nice combo, just remember that breeding with w20 in the mix might white out the foals.ID 43830
It's nice to be back! :)
