KP on Watercolor?

    I've got a foal that's got me scratching my head...

    Right around the middle of his neck and on his ribs there are lighter patches. I've seen similar looking patches on Watercolor with champagne and pearl, but this boy has neither of those two genes. Nothing else he has would really make these lighter areas .... except SplashM maybe, but it doesn't look right for that either.

    Both parents are Rhythm of Fours. My best guess is KP? I can't select for KP in horse search, so I don't really have any good comparisons.

    What do you guys think?

    Honestly, it looks like a macchiato splotch without the solid white in the middle. If you look at these horses closely, you can see similar shadings where it's like someone gave them a very very quick click of the spray paint button on paint (or at least the old version lol).

    I don't have a watercolour+kp example, but I do have a SpM+kp example. Here he is, his dam was a christmas gift~

    KP is one of those genes that can ONLY be gmted on. It isn't like snowflake where you can find it in random creates, you HAVE to use a gmt to put it on a foundation and then breed from there. The stud looks like it has a good long list of all of its gmted genes, and kp isn't one of them. So mostly a macchiato splot

    Ok, found some examples of watercolour and kp! Thankfully some people use a KP tattoo, and was able to find it via that in the horse search~
