I guess this is more of a “what would you do”, but I have a question:

I have enough IVs currently to buy a 120 stall barn. I am considering saving up for a 210 stall barn (another 325k hbs), but only have about 25 stalls left in my barns (cumulatively) before I’m fully out of space. I have all my breeding-age mares, plus all the mares set to age up next season, in pasture, currently.

If this was your setup, what would you do? Get the 120 stall barn now, and get another later on, or save up for the 210 stall barn? Any input is v helpful! Thank you :)

It really depends on if you would be able to save up the remaining HBs before you need the space. For myself, I can buy a 120 stall barn right now, but I also know I can save up the rest of the HBs needed to get the 210 stall barn before the end of breeding season when I need it. So I will wait, and get the bigger barn. But if I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the HBs in time, I would go ahead and get the 120 stall barn.

@FallenShadows714 that makes sense. I think it’ll take about 6 weeks of saving to get the next 30 IVs for the 210 stall. Maybe it will be a good idea to get the 120 stall first then!
