My side project is so satisfying!
  • I mostly breed cobs, but I have a small herd of riding horses that I play with. I don't have any serious hard set goals for them, other than having DP and being loudly patterned. Sometimes I breed them, sometimes I don't. But I bred them this year and I am so pleased that I just had to share!

It was this lads first season-

I'm starting to wonder if I should cut back on the cobs a bit and breed more RHs!
  • They're beautiful! :) I think ClearAsABell and ClearShot are my favorites:)
:) ClearMoonRising is an Invisible Ink foal though. He's genetically a Leopard. ;)

  • They are lovely. I also breed for liver chestnut riding horses (often with patterns), and cobs (in dun with any patterns).

  • If you like loud apps may I suggest adding a little Ice 5 to your lines? It makes loud apps even prettier in my opinion...

  • Thank you everyone for your kind words and I'm so glad others enjoy them as much as I do! Can't wait to see them age up!

@duelinghawks I cull my mares out as soon as I have a daughter that I consider better to replace them, so it's quite possible I may have some even bred ladies this next coming season and if I do I will reach out to you!

@OndowaStables ouuu wonderful! Many of my cobs have dun, and now also nd1. I have too many lines, bt the ones I focus on most are my silver bays, with DP, mushroom, nd1 and sooty+ (a new project), and my sable champagnes (which I'm trying to add sooty+ to now)!

@4StarShowPonies I have quite a bit of ice in my cobs but as of right now none in RHs- love that stud of yours though! If you'd sell a few straws from him when he ages up I'd buy 5 :) - my id is 39192 if you do decide to pull straws!
  • I’m definitely open to pulling straws for you. I’m excited to use him on some of my plain Appaloosa mares.

It’s doubly nice since there’s no lethality to consider when adding Ice 5 to them.
