I have been playing almost a year, so I am not new. But I know that many new players may be struggling to earn HB to upgrade to a basic account, so that might be really helpful!

Just FYI - I can donate a blinged out custom GMT horses for some contest prizes. Send me a PM and let me know about your contest! Plus they will have points because the account I use to make them is under the limit.

I've been here a year now, so not exactly new, but I have found saving for barns is the hardest part of getting started.

While I never turned down pointed show ponies, when I was a new account (<6 months), I really needed hbs for barn purchases. I pointed out of pointed creates long before my barn was truly self-sustaining. There were several times I was triaging barn space in order to add in an extra horse, or no putting Exceptional Show Horses or other non-Expro creates through breeding advice just so I could stick them in a pasture instead of using a stall. When you only have a show bonus of 2k per day, it takes a long time and a lot of effort to save up for enough IVs to buy a barn.<br />
The issue with hbs, of course, is you can't really dictate what people spend them on. But, by the same token, you can't keep people from selling 1hbs prize horses in auction the next day.

If someone wants to bling out a custom GMT'd horse with the intention to sell it, I'm good with that too. They would get the experience of running a forum auction!

HTRanch, unless you already know how you want to do your game/contest, let's talk! I am looking for any contest or game that can help new player learn the ropes, ESPECIALLY with using the search, or with the learning how the game works.
