Name already in use...but search by name yields no results?

    I have tried naming a couple horses recently and I get the message that the name is already in use and to please choose a different name. However, when I search for horses with those particular names there are none? Any ideas why this is?
    BREEDING DARKNESS (ok black liver but it sounds cooler)
    And DP with Sooty Plus in Silver Black, Blue, Sable & Buckskin
    Focusing on the tallest riding horses

    I would guess the horse is deceased.
    Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

    Click the 'deceased' box under status on the search page. You can sometime use a variation of the name
