Some new changes
-
I have a free account, so there's only so much I can do, but I've decided to change my breeding standards. My old rules used to be; score higher than 6 (lol), be any color other than bay or palomino, have some kind of white spotting, and they all had to be mares.
I look back at it and laugh because it's so dumb and oddly specific :))
My new rules are; all foals must score well over 10, be evenly bred, pass all tests, and not be a riding horse/pony (just because I'm not a fan). I'll try to incorporate superiority to sire tests later, but I'll have to wait until I upgrade. What are your Breeding rules?
My first foal that follows my "new rules" :x What do you think of him?

Me too! I love his dapples too :x

He's very handsome. So, I have a couple accounts I keep upgraded with IVs, and they separate my 'lines' but on all I breed first for even generations and papers, then after I just mix up all my too pretty to geld ones and hope for the best with my best OR favorite stud.45120

He’s a cutie. Love the S+ dapples
I had to laugh at your comment about being oddly specific. Thinking just wait a bit and you’ll get really specific.
Officially I breed Grullos with white patterns. Currently on a snipping spree on the other server and my requirements for my studs are now up to:
-Must be EE DD
-Preferably 2 kit pattern genes, must have 2 in my KP line
-If the stud has a fantasy gene the foal must inherit it to remain intact. Exceptions only made in the case of the foal inheriting it’s dams axiom rather than it’s sires
-Must be superior to sire
-if the sire has produced colts with 2 paper levels only the higher level will be kept intact
For all:
-even generations from foundation to fully lined (up to 7gens now I think)
-Each generation will only have the 2 highest paper levels left intact; until the point when the higher level holds the majority then the lower level gets snipped
-must be consistent
-Must pass SBA
For the mares
-must be grulloBreeding even generation Grullos with Ice -
Mine need to be hom Sooty. I also try to work in at least het DP, but as long as the Sooty is there, I let them go. All second gens and above need to have a PT of at least 10. 2G has to be red/b, 3 and above have to be blue/a. I haven't narrowed down where to require gold/stars, yet as I've only bred a handful, so I breed blue/a as far up as I have right now. When I get more of the gold/stars, that'll change :)

I've recently gotten more specific!
My second gens must be appy, consistent, and blue/A papered. Third gens must have that plus be at least het for one of the special genes from their parents (usually by 2nd and 3rd gen I'm just tossing my lads and ladies in wherever I want because I don't have the space to keep my lines separate and I'm too greedy for the pasture bonus LOL)
I haven't gotten to 4th gen yet :PThanked by 1Whereareyourparents -
That's so great! I have so many accounts lol. So I'm all over the place. I bought a 4th gen Stud because he was pretty, and I've been loving pearl on darker colors. I think to myself "my breeding rules are so strict", even though I swear I have the basic rules :))
