Does anybody else have a hard time with the sales board? I find myself not even looking because there are so many different ones that are not what I would like. And I know you have to wean through stuff. I was just thinking that it might be nice to have a foundation sales page. And then an even generation sales page. And then a bootstrap sales page. Doesn't have to be all tested and all that stuff just evenly bread on one sales page and so on and so forth. Anyone else think that that might be nice I don't even know if it's a possibility but I found myself missing stuff because a lot of times I don't even look because my news feed is flooded with tons of stuff

I know that there is already a foundation page, but the others would be cool.

Maybe instead of leaving the sorting to the game, we could manually enter the horse into a certain sales board? The only problem I can see is that everyone has a different definition of "even" and "bootstrap", and it would probably be better if someone just created an open chat (I know that there is a bootstrap one).

I don’t have a terrible time with it, but I most times am only looking for a specific gene or a foundation. I don’t add much to my even lines from the sales board, only to my bootstrap herd.

I did run across the problem when I was searching for my even lines of having to go back into the family lines to double check the evenness and it did become a bit of a pain. But as Maria pointed out, there are a couple different definitions running around as to what “even” means so that could be a problem.

i think what would make searches the easiest to start with is if people would at least color test all their horses. When i look at horses for sale, i look at warmbloods/sport ponies with certain genes. But if they aren't color tested they don't show up on my search. But i don't think its a big enough issue to need a whole new sale board. That would get immensely confusing, especially for new players.

go to the search horses page, look under "status", and uncheck "lined". that should only give you foundations :)

We could encourage people to put info in the titles of their posts. I try to mention the horse size, generations, and eveness at least.
