Lethal foals in pasture?
-
If you breed a lethal foal in the pasture, will you get an alert about what happened?
Haven't had time to look too closely into it, but I'm positive bred 37 mares in one pasture and only 36 foals came out... Stallion has frame so it's possible I slipped up and there was a frame mare in the bunch, which would explain it, but I would have thought I'd get a notification. -
You do not get a notification if you breed a lethal foal in pasture, actually. Not sure why, but it happened to me several times until I figured out the lethality chart.

I expect that there is no message because the program isn't written to provide for one. Considering how many breedings are taking place almost simultaneously, especially at the start of breeding season and on the 14th when pastures automatically run, such a feature would seriously bog down the server. When breeding by hand, the competition for server time is most likely some what smaller, and a dead foal message can be handled more easily.De gustibus non disputandum.
