The expiration date has to be set before the sale. Say I have ten straws from Max and I’m sell 5 with a 2yr expiration date. I go and set the esperation date on each straw (without putting buyer’s number in) whe I have finished setting the expectation date on the 5 straws then I place buyers number in, and select the straws that have the expiration date on them. I do not mess with the expiration date setter again.
Using expiration dates is a lot of work. Personally I don’t put expiration dates on my straws anymore, it’s too time consuming.
