Looks like its almost time! We're headed home!

    So we are rooming in with both babies today! Sophia is doing great and should be coming home tomorrow! No clue how I'll handle both girls but I'll do my best! :x
    I'm going to add this here, we're going home today! Like we are in the car! I'm terrified, they didnt sleep at all last night. So neither did we. I feel a huge disconnect with Sophia but I'm working on it! I cuddled her all day today, sang to her and got some beautiful smiles. I think I'm broken :((

    Last night was a total fail. Neither girls slept, nor did we. Not to mention the complete disconnect i feel towards Sophia. I did all the first with her so I dont know what's wrong with me. First baby I held, first skin to skin, all of it. O feel so lost. I love her, I just feel like that connection I have with Hazel isn't there with Sophia

    My twins are four now and first bringing home twins is intense, do whatever you need to do to meet everyone's needs and don't let anyone judge you for it! And it's okay to feel disconnected right now. The feeling of connection is going to come when you aren't so stressed. I took a while to bond with some of my babies and we all had a much easier road home.

    It will get there. You have to also understand your body is going through a big change from being pregnant to not being pregnant. I did not have the connection with my youngest son like I did with my first son. Don't beat yourself up on that. Your body is going through many hormone changes. Keep at it.
