DP question another one

Yup! Black liver means 4 darkening genes, so she's hom DP.Thanked by 1SummertreeFarms

Cool so her foundie momma has DP :) funny how super random breedings (literally bred her solely for a show pony) can bring out genes.

What a super pretty guy - glad DinaChill's studs are being helpful :)Breeding brown/liver/black with white spotting drafts. If you ever fancy straws PM me. PM me if you need help with GE.

Instead of making another thread I'll just bump this one with a new pony lol

3g Devils Freak SNF KP DP
I've gotten better about seeing het vs hom on chestnuts... but on duns I'm at a loss. What is she?! -
Likely only het, I know the dam for sure is Hom DP because I bred her, but her sire looks like he’s not carrying any DP. He’s extremely light in color. So it looks like she’s just het DP to me.
The best way to tell on duns is looking at their lower legs or muzzle. They vary widely, but the super dark muzzles and lower legs will most likely be the hom DP guys (at least when looking at liver duns and chocolate duns). -
She is only Het. I bred her sire, and I know that he doesn't carry DP :)

Thanks!
I didn't think he looked Dp but his name threw me off lol
