Anyone ever done it?
Thinking of cloning this guy, will the snowflake clone?

Yup! The snowflake would clone. :)

Problem though; only the original owner can clone their horse.

Yeah, it looks at the "breeder" thing to determine, doesn't matter what happened afterwards.

You could always ask the original breeder to clone the horse, if you send them the HBs

PSA: Make sure you know them very well and trust them, if you take this route! It is risky, and if they chose not to sell back the horse, you could be out a horse AND the HBs. I don’t think I would risk it with a horse in which I had invested that much GMT modification.

Having said that, my friend recently cloned a very lovely snowflake mare with KP. The snowflake cloned, the KP did not. As the clone lab page warns, there are many special limited edition genes that will NOT clone. I believe that snowflake successfully clones because it is an open gene that can occur naturally in creates, albeit a rare one.

Your boy is lovely, and I understand why you would want to clone him!

Of the "big four" hidden genes, snowflake and DP clone, while KP and GP do not.
