    Can I have straws that came from horses that have genes I don't own? Asking because of SS. Thanks!

    No we can't do that. You can gift your SS altered show ponies but not intact if you dont own the licenses. You can have an elf do it though I think.

    So straws fall under intact, even if they're just in the inventory?

    Yes I think they would. Your SS would have to own a foundation closed gene to be given a straw or egg.

    Hopefully someone else will pipe in as well. I think I am right though.

    I've been dealing with the same issue! I messaged an elf with the gene license I'm missing, and they've been buying the intact horses and straws I want for my SS and storing them for me, and they'll send them on my behalf when I'm ready. They're super awesome that way!

    Also most of the sellers will sell direct to your SS you just have to pay them with a money transfer or buy a horse they put up for sale
