    This is my first year participating in SS. Can we create a (private) chat to put all of our horse gifts in and then send the chat link to our SS on the appropriate day? Or are we supposed to be secret until after they get all the gifts?

    you are more than welcome to make a private chat room :) you stay secret up until you give your gifts so you can reveal yourself, then give them access to the chat room

    stupid question - how do you still remain anonymous when you give your gifts prior to the reveal date? For instance...let's say I have you as my SS @ConfluenceFarms and I use @ahayeshorses as a "go between". Wouldn't you just be able to go to that horse's "records" page and see who sold the horse to Ahayes?

    You could ask your go-between to buy the horse/straw for you if it wasn't your horse/straw or with straws and maybe horses ask the seller if they can give the horse to your SS directly and then pay the seller separately.

    I think most people use that as an instance when they didn't breed the horse, plus, that kinda doesn't mean confluence is your SS. They just sold someone a random horse for you. Your SS may have asked Ahayes to get the horse from confluence.

    If you're giving gifts that can be bought on the Upgrade with Real Money page (if you're doing level 2 or 3), then you just insert the ID number of the player you're giving the gift to and it appears mysteriously in their account. *G*
