Cloning Question

When you clone a foundation horse, the clone will obviously show as a foundation. But if I clone a lined horse, will the family tab show the line, or will it show as a foundation? Also, it says that just because a horse passed BA does not mean the clone will. Why is that? I’m just leery of spending that much to clone a horse and it might not pass BA.

That is because papering have changed over the years, but that is a long time ago, so I can not find any reason why a clone now should not stay intact.
And a lined horse will be lined when cloned too. It shows up as another foal from the parents.ID 108 -
Excellent, thanks Maribo! I was wondering what on earth I would do with an A papered foundation if I happened to clone a lined horse.
