Account page says I have a premium account and breeding will open on the second. Pasture page said breeding will start on the 5th. Anyone else have this issue or insite into this?

Pastures open, to anyone who has contributed real cash to the game in the previous month, on the 5th day of the month. If you haven't paid real cash they open on the 7th.

It's been that way for a while now.

It's set up to save the server from crashing because of all the breeding that gets done when pastures open.

(Premium upgrades count as real cash)

You can hand breed and use straws etc on the second. Pastures open on the 5th for upgraded members.

Actually, it's not just upgraded members any more. If you buy anything using real cash you get bumped up to the 5th. One GMT or one pasture or one infusion, as long as you use Paypal, not IVs, you will be able to breed pastures on the 5th.

I forget about the difference between pasture breeding season and hand/lab breeding season all the time.

Just yesterday I waited for breeding season to be open (2 am for me), blew all my spare cash on mare creates and tossed them in my pasture with the intend to make some money back from their offspring in yesterday's auction when I abruptly found out that that wasn't going to happen. LOL
