No more breeding?
-
How old can a horse be to not be able to breed anymore? I have this 17 year old son of Freaky Dreamer G1 that I can't pull straws from.
-
I wanna say it's like 20 years old. But right now, no one can do anything relating to breeding, because breeding is closed until a certain time next month. It's like this every month.Love,

Well, I don't think we can pull straws/eggs once breeding closes. :-?? Someone who knows more than me will be able to help better. :)Love,

Horses can breed until the season before they turn 20 (so technically 19). I’m pretty sure you should still be able to pull straws and eggs right now, you just can’t implant embryos and hand/pasture breed. Did you check how many straws he has pulled already? For basic members, a stallion can only have 100 straws pulled, for premium members a stallion can have 500 straws pulled. I believe those numbers are inclusive to every single straw pulled, whether you own them or other players own them.
-
Question on that topic - what if a premium member pulls 500 then drops down to basic? Do they still keep all those straws?ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines! I'm always selling straws and eggs from anything I have that catches your eye, don't hesitate to PM me and ask!

You should still be able to pull straws if you haven't maxed out.
-
Yep you probably pulled too many already.
You're always allowed to pull straws after breeding season.Thanked by 1FallenShadows714 -
Lally, I THINK your freezer space would go down to 100, but I imagine the other 400 would still be there and you just couldn't see them.
-
Hmm, that sounds like it would make sense. Curious, though, I wonder if you used one after that if you’d essentially be able to still use them all, just not pull any more.
And can a basic account own more than 100 straws from someone else’s stud, I wonder?ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines! I'm always selling straws and eggs from anything I have that catches your eye, don't hesitate to PM me and ask!
