    So I was making creates from a Rank 1 hom EE herd helper because I was looking to just get plain old black but all I got was bay. this one is the second one I made in that herd helper but she really doesn’t look at all like the other ones. Is there something special about her?

    She is a hom sooty wild bay (she carries A+). Wild bay does some fun things with sooty and DP. A link to a post on wild bay color variations is here:

    I mainly breed for wild bays, the hom sooty ones like her are just so chocolatey and delicious! I get them probably one in every 30 creates from the dark bay herd helpers I scoop up. It might be a little rarer to get one from an EE HH because the hom sooty isn't guaranteed I don't think.
