    So I just created this guy at the beginning of the week, and he's already leveled off.

    I don't quite know what to make of it. He's only shown once and won, so that is a good thing, but how many shows should I put him through before knowing if he needed to be culled or not?

    Here's the quick study.

    His PT score is only 3.5, so he's not going to be trained anymore. He will earn points where he's at, but he won't climb through the ranks to get to higher levels. As a stud, he'll produce good offspring, but as a shower, he won't do much.

    That doesn't really explain why he leveled off at 3.5.

    Horses level off roughly when their age meets their PT so it does sort of tell you why he leveled off now since it’s roughly half way through the year.

    You know, it could also be that you had all the points you could from "pointed creates" and he came out with no points, and leveled off. I did that yesterday (I have all my allowed pointed creates or whatever) and my horses started coming out with no points, but leveled off, and low PT. So, that could also be it. :)

    There is no cap on how many pointed creates an account can make as long as they stay below the 20k limit. Is that what you're talking about, June? The create a horse system is totally random outside of the 20k 'ceiling'. And the PT of ANY create (except RS and exceptionals) is random, as well. It sounds like you just got some unlucky creates at the same time you passed the 20k ceiling.
