If you breed two hom snowflake horses together you will get a hom snowflake foal, correct?
If so I bred these two mares who are both hom snowflake to 2 different hom stallions and hot these two foals who must of missed the appy gene but they won't actually register, please help me understand
Thanks in advance

They need a copy of Lp which is the Appaloosa gene to show the snowflake and for them to be registerableDivineDreams ~ 30908

just that. If they both have two parents that are hom snowflake, then the foals are hom snowflake - but to be eligible for the breeder's club, they have to be snowflake phenotype , which requires hom snowflake plus at least het Lp.Thanked by 1horsey2
