So I bought a straw from a nice 5th gen stud thinking I had a mare to go with it. I didn’t. So I looked on the sales list and there isn’t any 5th gen mares. I only have a 2 yo mare that will work if I want my foal evenly bred but I will have to wait until August. If anyone has a 5th gen mare I would like buy and breed her. I’m also not sure if straws expire. Can anyone help with what I should do?

Straws don't expire unless the seller put an expiration on it. Not sure where you would look to see if it expires.

You could dig through the mares up for brood until you find a 5th gen. You can use straws on mares up for public brood. Or I have some nice 5th gens I would let you use. What are you looking for?
