Removing GMT Tattoos
-
So, does anyone have any strong opinions about removing GMT/boost tats from a horse that has been modded? I've been considering taking them off of some of my modified horses to tidy up their pages a bit, but I have no idea if doing this is frowned upon.ID: 45055
Once I have entered horses into the auction, I do not remove them. -
To be honest I didn't know it was possible but personally I really don't care HOW a horse got its color, as long as it can pass them on. So having the tattoos is unnecessary for me.

I would leave them on. The tattoos are your receipt that you paid for the genes.Breeding even generation Grullos with Ice

I personally like to leave them on as a personal record of what was added
You could always put it in their notes though----

I am very forgetful so if I owe you anything but am taking to long please send me a PM. I don't get on to play the game as often as I once did but I am usually most active during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month -
I agree with you Ragtatter. I usually take them off unless I want to be sure I remember what I already did. I have one colt I left them on just to remind myself I'm an idiot and wasted money on him. lol~*~ Justa ~*~

Ammit has mentioned that they’re the only way you have any proof of purchasing those genes, so for horses you’ve spent more than one or two GMTs on I’d recommend leaving the tattoos.ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines!
