So I have this guy -

GMT MadLabRat DP 99C

Already has both frames removed and has been boosted to a B. I'm trying to decide what else to do with him. I made the plunge and took advantage of the discounts on GMT tokens, so I have a few to work with. I'm thinking about adding W3 to him. Anything else you guys think would be good to add? I don't want to add appy (I love apps and do breed for them, but I want this boy appy free so he doesn't fade).

Kit m and splash would be gorgeous. You could also add S+

w8, while expensive, is absolutely gorgeous on the darker colors. I'd also suggest sa or prl. :)

I made my Freaky guys into silver bays, but I put W3 on one and W8 on the other. I’m linking them here for you to take a look at just to compare the patterns. You might also look at their offspring to see more expressions. I’ve tried to put mares with other (safe) patterns so I get a lot of really dark foals with something fun going on. I love W3, but W2 and W8 both are also good choices in the sort of middle investment range.

KitM and satin are so expensive... and remember pearl and S+ will both lighten him up. If you like that he’s nearly black, pearl will of course turn him pearly and S+ Will turn him dark dappled copper. All good choices but it depends how much you have to spend and what your goals are.

Splash: black or black liver with minimal white and blue eyes is one of my favorite colors in the game. That blue eye is so striking against the really dark coat! But I would hesitate to mix splash and White Spotting. And if you got for Splash 2 or 3, since they are homozygous Lethal, you’re just ending up with the same problem you eliminated with Frame....

I absolutely love Friendly Freak! I was thinking about adding S+ actually. I'd thought about pearl, but as Cheers said it will make him lighter so I'm hesitant to do that. Satin and kitm are out due to price, although I love both! So I am thinking W3 and S+. Also splash was a good suggestion, considering that too. Thanks guys!!

I like the more exotic spotting patterns too, but I actually love the flaxen black liver look. I lucked into a nice flaxen black liver colt with het splash, and I was thrilled when a reroll gave him blue eyes. :D

I also like w20 on liver. It gives some chrome, but not a huge amount of white.

Ah yes, I forgot about the possibility of flaxen. That would give a nice "pop" to him. I too like the little extra chrome the W20 gives. I love the marking he has on his face now.

Just added W3 and I really love it! Would adding S+ guarantee dapples?
