Dark for a Champagne
-
-
She's a classic champagne (black based). The "first" colour name can tell you what base the horse is in champagnes. I believe that Gold is red based, so rather common. Amber, I think it's called, is brown based and much harder to get.
Here is another classic champagne for comparison:

Amber is bay or wild bay based and also relatively common. Sable is brown based and quite uncommon, a bit less common than black/classic.Thanked by 1ObsidianKitsune

That's it, thanks! I don't breed for champagne so knew I'd get something wrong when talking about it eventually lolProducer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Thanks everyone I am so used to the lighter color with champagne that she confused me.
