Pastures and Breeding
-
So, I have had some of my mares in the pasture for 30 days. I know that this gives them better foals, but I would like to breed a mare to another players stallion. When I go to that stallion's page, none of my mares in the pasture show up. I did read that the pastures don't open until the 7th, so is this why I can't breed any of my mares in my pasture? or will I have to remove them from the pasture in order to breed with other players horses? If i do have to remove them, will they lose the benafits they'd give their foals for the 30 days in the pasture?

You can only use your own stallions in the pasture. You will have to remove them to breed to an outside stud.Thanked by 1SummertreeFarms

As soon as a mare's hooves touch the barn floor, they lose all of their bonus from the pasture. The pasture is great because it raises their chances of throwing good offspring, but the downsides are that they cannot be shown nor bred to an outside stud.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts.
